Film Summary: his is an expansive, rib-tickling, and subversive comedy in which Moore, playing the role of “invader,” visits a host of nations to learn how the U.S. could improve its own prospects. The creator of Fahrenheit 9/11 and Bowling for Columbine is back with this hilarious and eye-opening call to arms. Turns out the solutions to America’s most entrenched problems already existed in the world – they’re just waiting to be co-opted.

Whether or not you agree with his often one-sided vigor, there is plenty of food for thought in this documentary/travelogue with Moore visiting countries to “claim” their ideas for America including how to run a prison, offer company vacation, teach sex ed, serve school lunch, and how to run a bank. You may leave the event thinking of your counter-arguments or cheering – but there are definitely many moments where you will laugh, and you will leave THINKING and that’s the point.
